Ski Discovery

Last Friday, Dustin and I headed up to Anaconda, MT to meet Britni and her friend Bill for a ski trip to Discovery, one of my favorite ski hills. We stayed at the Hickory House Inn, a cute little bed and breakfast. The lady that runs the place (Mary Jane) was a lot of fun and made some delicious breakfasts! Of course I neglected to take any photos so you get some that I snagged from their website.

 We stayed in the Garden Room. No Britni did not have to sleep on that tiny little wicker chair in the corner. There's a room next door.

Saturday (after breakfast) we headed up to Discovery and skiied our little hearts out all day, enjoying the powder that dumped on us around lunchtime.  After a hard day of skiing, we headed to Fairmont Hot Springs about ten miles away to soak our tired muscles in the hot pools. We had dinner at the restaurant inside the Fairmont hotel where Britni and I had the BEST bison steaks ever! My mouth still waters thinking about them!

We had a lot of fun, but were definitely glad to come home to these two...
