Journal Day #3

They say hindsight is 20/20, and with good reason- looking back at something always gives us a better view. We're often able to really see how our choices and decisions then shaped our today, and examine what we would have done differently given the chance. When looking back though, we often look way back, but for this exercise stay a little closer to present time and look back just 12 months. If you could go back just one year, what would you tell yourself? What advice would you offer about everything you've experienced?

This is a difficult post for me, because the past year been really quite happy and fairly stress-free.

A year ago (ok, it was really more like 14 months ago, but I'm reaching here), I had a lot of uncertainty job-wise. I was working two PRN jobs, one of which I was not at all happy at. I think that I would like to tell my 12-month-past-self not to worry so much because, I would shortly be offered a full-time position at a hospital that would turn out to be the perfect fit for me.

Oh, and I'd tell myself to buy some fans because when our A/C went out in the height of summer heat, it would be miserable.
