Big Island Day 1

Finally, I've finished going through the Hawaii photos. Here are some pics of the two-day trip Dustin and I took to the Big Island. On day 1 we went to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park and tried to see all we could in just one day. A lot of the park was closed due to high levels of sulphur dioxide gas being emitted from Halema'uma'u crater, but we got to see the Thurston Lava Tubes, miles of lava flow, the sea arch, and the area where lava went over the road in the '80s. We didn't get to see any live magma, but we did see the steam from where the magma was flowing into the ocean (from a distance).
