Randy, Teresa, Dustin, and I drove up to Helena, MT on Saturday for the wedding of (Angel's sister) Rachel and Wes. It was an outdoor wedding with the reception in a giant barn. Alex and Max, Dustin's niece and nephew were the flower girl and ring bearer and Angel was one of the bridesmaids. Angel and Rachel's mom Carol made all the dresses and did an amazing job! Angel and Heath raised butterflies from larvae to release after the ceremony. Max got a little attached to them and wanted to keep them, but we finally convinced him to let his recaptured little insects go.
Afterward, Randy, Teresa, Dustin and I did the train tour of Helena, ate at McKenzie River Pizza Co. (my favorite!), and then introduced me to go-kart racing. We had so much fun that we grabbed Alex and Max and went go-karting again! Alex was just tall enough to drive her own kart, but Max was content to ride with his Uncle Dustin. We raced again in singles with Teresa and Max sitting out. I had by far the fastest cart, but Dustin was very good at cutting off my passing attempts and used Alex's slower kart to his advantage.
Sunday we headed to Anaconda, MT and played 18 holes on their amazing golf course. Pictures to follow, pending me raiding Teresa's camera.
Look at these cute stinkin' kids!
